I have a very good understanding of how most of the stuff is handled in-game but I can't exactly program the junk in Lazy Shell properly, so help would be wonderful on that regard. If I could get a hand with re-coding how it handles the scripts and having it shift all the data correctly, we'd have a huge new portion ready for people. I personally think that's some of the most limiting factors since we can't do much of anything but modify what is already there. If that could be changed then it'd be the BIGGEST change there and allow so many more options. There's obviously a lot I want to do but I can't do the 'big' change due to Lazy Shell which is to allow more Item, Weapon, Spell scripts and such.

Lazy Shell has been updated to handle all of this thus far. Dictionary compressed text has been moved as well.Ĩ. Dialogue has been moved into the expanded area much like all the data above listed.ħ. I saw absolutely NO reason for them to go above that on any regard so that is the same.Ħ. Not sure why I did that but hey, whatever it works.Īlso to note, monsters CANNOT give more than 65,535 EXP. They can all naturally be set to 999 at max, except in this case I think their FP can too. Monster stats have been changed to be the same as Allies. There are a few issues here since I missed some actual hard set '30' caps around the ROM but once I figure all those out, it'd be no problem to add into Lazy Shell.ĥ.

The table has also been changed to allow 3-byte EXP so they can cap at '999,999' experience. They are now capable of going up to level '99'. Each ally has their own experience and level table now. Either way it's possible to level speed now.Ĥ.

With that, the level code has been updated so that HP can now only change by +15 instead of +255 as Speed uses the other half of the byte. But the option is there and it displays upon leveling up. There is NO increase normally in the game and even in the current state, there isn't either. They can now hold up to 18 spells at max and there's even a scrollable menu in the Specials menu now.ģ. Each Ally now has a spell table in their RAM instead of using bits. Spells have been redone as well though this might be an issue later depending. I'm pretty sure there's some hard caps at '255' and '30' that I missed in some form around the ROM so that'd have to be rechecked along the way. Coins, I believe, are capped at '9999' now and Frog Coins are at '999'. Experience has been changed to 3 bytes and can now go to '999,999' at max. This means that Attack, Defense, Magic Attack, Magic Defense and Speed can all go to '999' at max. Though, I could make that dependent per character if so desired). With Allies RAM redone, there is now official support for 2-byte data on EVERYTHING (Excluding FP. With this, there are currently 7 unused bytes per Ally in RAM.Ģ. This also allows up to 8 Allies in total once the ground base is done. Allies RAM data has been heavily redone to support up to 32 bytes now instead of the 20 they were before. So what exactly has been done and from the looks of things actually works in-game? Here's a list:ġ. Also, Lazy Shell thus far has been updated to support all the data being moved.
